noisedriver was founded on 31 december 2011 with the release of the album “A Cat Named Thomas”. Initially the project was called “ABrushwoodTale”, referring to another project I was only envolved in for a few months, back in 2007 - or was it 2008? In any case noisedriver turned out to be the name of another band - or rather DJ I believe it is -nonetheless, I kept the name, because I like a three-syllable name, and, moreover, it was free to use on almost all social media sites I could think of to spread my music. So there you are.

In February the next concept album was completed: “Inspector Lloyd, Bradford CID”. Both albums had been recorded using prerecorded instruments of the MAGIX Music Maker software. They were also mainly instrumental and focussed on piano and strings. Although you can expect more of this kind of music in the future, the main genre will actually be more related to instrumental metal. Three albums are just waiting to be recorded, the fourth one I am currently writing music for!

Hi,

I am currently working on new material (songs/artwork). The sound of the new album will be aimed at hard-rock, with influences of bands such as Placebo, NIN and Cloudkicker. For the artwork I was looking into artists like somefield.

Album title, some artwork (including the album cover) and three songs have been more or less finished. More coming soon!
